Clint Chartier is available for and often invited to appear at various Western Festivals. He attracts a lot of attention as he sets up his authentic 18-foot tepee with his handmade accoutrements of Native American daily life, while dressed in his buckskin clothes. At some events he will bring one of his horses to ride in a demonstration of how a warrior would hunt a buffalo. He also use the horse to give a demonstration of painting the symbols on a horse and what those symbols mean.
These demonstrations offer a fresh look at the life of Plains Indian’s true daily life as Clint tries to dispel the negative image that the film industry depicted for many years.
Some of the Colorado events where he has participated are Territory Days in Old Colorado City west of Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, Canon City Western Heritage days and Wet Mountain Western Jubilee.
